Como Park Zoo and Conservatory Party for the Planet

Location: Como Zoo and Conservatory, St. Paul

When : April 22, During regular hours 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Cost : Free, donations accepted.

Como Park Zoo and Conservatory hosts an Earth Day celebration for visitors to discover ways to connect to the local environment, and make a difference on a local, national and global level. There will be presentations about making a toad house, creating a rain garden, composting, recycling, and conservation talks.

When : April 22, 2008 @ 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. or sunset

Contact: 952-443-1400 Free gate admission to carpoolers and everyone arriving on bicycles or in hybrid vehicles.

Minnesota Zoo – Earth Day

Location: 13000 Zoo Boulevard, Apple Valley, MN

When : April 22, 2008 @ 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Geo-caching: Earth Day 2008 – A Social Event

Location: Indian Mounds Regional Park, St. Paul

When : April 22, 2008 @ Noon to 4:00 p.m. Food from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and a bonfire.

You need to sign up to receive the coordinates! Hike in, trash out! Help clean up this beautiful park, Indian Mounds Regional Park. Gloves and trash bags provided by Saint Paul Parks.
